The ACDC is used to add and revise the bibliographic information that will be transferred into the Bibleaves search interface. (See the Bibleaves service commitment for more details on Bibleaves)
ACDC Editor is normally available 24/7.
Maintaining the ACDC editor is a standard agreement, meaning problems with the database are dealt with during normal business hours (M-F, 8:30-5:00).
If you believe there is an issue with the ACDC Editor used for inputting the ACDC bibliographic information that will be used by Bibleaves, please log a ticket with the IT Help Desk or call the Help Desk at 244-4688. Incoming tickets and calls are reviewed and prioritized as they arrive between 8:30-5:00, Monday through Friday. Tickets or calls coming in after hours are reviewed promptly on the next business day.
ACDC Editor is available to all Library faculty/staff.
There is no documentation at this time.
To use ACDC Editor you must have a computer with an internet connection and a web browser.
The service owner is the Head of the ACDC (Joyce Wright).
Library IT Infrastructure Support and Management supports the ACDC Editor.
Library IT Software Development Group is responsible for new features currently being added to ACDC Editor and the process for uploading bibliographic information into Bibleaves. (In process as of this writing).
