Log a ticket

OTRS requests can be placed by logging into https://help.library.illinois.edu/otrs/customer.pl or sending an email to a queue. Below is a description of the available queues and their email addresses.

Queues

ERTech:  For reporting access problems with electronic resources. Email tickets to ertech at library.illinois.edu.

Facilities: For any problems or requests regarding Library spaces, such as moving or purchasing furniture, key requests, or repairs.  Email requests can be sent to facilities at library.illinois.edu.

Info Lit: Reporting questions related to information literacy and LibGuides.  Email requests can be sent to infolit at library.illinois.edu.

IT Help Desk:  For any problems or requests regarding computers, printers, network systems, websites, or other technology.  Email requests can be sent to help at library.illinois.edu.

Monographic Maintenance:  Cataloging maintenance requests for monographs.  Email requests can be sent to monomain at library.illinois.edu.

MPALCAT:  Cataloging requests for Music & Performing Arts materials.  Email requests can be sent to mpalcat at library.illinois.edu.

Serials Maintenance:  Cataloging maintenance requests for serials.  Email requests can be sent to sermain at library.illinois.edu.

Submitting tickets

If you would like to submit a new ticket, please go to https://help.library.illinois.edu/otrs/customer.pl.  Enter your netid and Active Directory password to log in (same as logging into your computer).  Please update any bookmarks to the new link as well.

If you cannot log in, please email the IT Help Desk, and we can add you into the system.  All faculty, staff, and graduate assistants should be able to log in.
