Leave Computer ON at Night

When you are ready to leave work at the end of the day, please log off your computer and turn off the monitor, but leave the computer turned ON.  This allows to Library IT staff to apply security patches and perform other maintenance activities overnight.

To log off the computer, hit control-alt-delete and choose the "Log Off" option. This increases system security and allows the machine to automatically reboot if patches are applied.
