The IRIS Alert Service is an automated funding-alert program. It enables researchers at subscribing institutions to create and save their own IRIS search profiles, using the full range of IRIS search criteria. Researchers can select their preferred search frequency (daily, weekly, or monthly) and delivery method (e-mail or password-protected Web site). The program runs the researcher's profile against the IRIS Database on the desired schedule and delivers the search results automatically.
The IRIS Alert Service retrieves funding opportunities that:
1. Satisfy the researcher's search criteria; and
2. Have open or upcoming deadlines; and
3. Have been edited or added to the IRIS Database since the last time the researcher's profile was run. Alternatively, users of the service can choose to see every opportunity that matches their search criteria, regardless of when it was last edited by the IRIS staff.
The IRIS Alert Service is a true "set it and forget it" funding-alert tool. If you have questions or comments about the service, please contact:
