Taking Materials Off Reserve

All materials on reserve are automatically taken off reserve at the end of the semester unless a request is submitted to carry them over to the next semester. We do not usually remove library-owned material from reserve during the course of a semester, as they are often on reserve for more than one course.

However, if you wish to have reserve materials taken off reserve (library-owned books, media, or electronic reserves) please send an email to the Information Processing & Management staff.  The email should include the course and instructor information, as well as which particular items should be taken off of reserve and why. We will check against our records and process the materials appropriately. You will receive a confirmation email of the status of the request, and we will be happy to work with you to meet your needs.

If you have personal copies of materials on reserve you may of course pick them up at any time the Undergraduate Library is open, and the staff at the Undergraduate Library Circulation & Reserve Desk will fill out a short form to send to us to have them removed from your reserve list.
