Scope and Contents: These films relate primarily to Illinois history, with particular emphasis on Abraham Lincoln, Carl Sandburg, and Chicago. Other topics include French exploration in Illinois, immigration history, and Midwestern literature.
The films were acquired by the Survey in 1993, as a result of the closing of the University Film Center.
