Scope and Contents: Louise Elizabeth Gulick received her B.A. degree from the University of Illinois in 1927 and her M.A. the following year. In 1936, she joined the biology faculty at Monticello College, where she remained until 1959.
The Gulick Collection mainly contains published Monticello College materials, 1935-60. These include issues of the Monticello College Bulletin, an alumni publication, and the Monticello Times, the student newspaper. Also in the collection are programs, promotional literature, a student handbook, and a student literary publication.
The Champaign County Historical Archives donated this collection to the Survey in 1989.
