Find Your Course’s Reserve List

To determine whether materials for your class are on reserve, and to see where they are held (whether in Funk ACES or another University Library unit), look for your class using the Library Catalog Course Reserves Search.

Request Reserve Materials

You must have your i-card to borrow reserve materials.

Request materials at the Funk ACES Circulation Desk by course number, instructor’s name, with title and/or call number.

Need assistance? Staff at the Funk ACES Circulation Desk can help you locate your course’s reserve list.

Reserve Borrowing Periods

2 hours: Standard check-out period for reserves is two hours. Reserve resources may be renewed if no one else is waiting. If a 2 hour reserve item is checked out less than two hours before closing time, it must be returned before the library closes. 2 hour reserve items may not be kept overnight.

24 hour, 3 day, and 1 week: Some instructors have specified their materials are to be available for additional amounts of time.

IMPORTANT: Overdue fines accumulate at a rate of:

  • $5 per hour (2 hour reserves)
  • $5 per day (all other reserves)

To prevent overdue fines from accruing, return all Funk Library Reserves directly, and only, to the Circulation Desk on the second floor of the Funk Library.
