Title Search Tips

Tips for searching by title:

When you know the exact title, simply enter it and press the "Search" button.

When you know only part of the title, you may find the document by entering one or more of the title terms that you know.  Example:

extension information

The search system will look for these terms in titles throughout the database, then retrieve titles that contain those terms anywhere in the title.  For example, entering the phrase above may result in titles such as:

"The information needs of extension constituents"
"Making information useful on the world wide web: uses of the web in extension"

However, when you use quotation marks and enter:

"extension information"

the search system will return only those articles containing the exact phrase in the title.  Examples:

"A model of farm-level demand for extension information"
"Identifying extension information delivery methods for environmental issues"
