To access the account, go to http://www.delicious.com and log in using the Ereference account credentials.


One of the advantages to using Delicious is that you can link to all of the resources for a particular tag, for example:

http://www.delicious.com/uiucref/government


You can also embed lists of links ("link rolls") into your LibGuides and web pages. To create these lists, in Delicious, go to "Settings" and then "Link Rolls" (under "Blogging", at the bottom of the page). Once you have specified the appropriate settings, you can copy the code from the box at the top of the page and paste it into the HTML code of your web page. Delicious also provides instructions for using CSS to better integrate the list into the look of your page, for example:


AUTOMATICALLY GENERATING LISTS OF TAGS and TAG CLOUDS

Lists and clouds of tags ("tag rolls") can  be generated and embedded in much the same way as list of links. To create these, in Delicious, go to "Settings" and then "Tag Rolls" (under "Blogging", at the bottom of the page). Once you have specified the appropriate settings, you can copy the code from the box at the top of the page and paste it into the HTML code of your web page, for example:


Delicious automatically generates RSS feeds for all of the links in an account and for each tag. To get the URL for the feed, click on one of the RSS icons at the bottom of the Delicious page. Here is an example:
