The Environmental Studies Virtual Library is not a specific physical unit like other
traditional libraries on campus. As the name indicates, this is a site which points to the
vast collection of UIUC Library's books, journals, and other resources in environmental
studies. This site also assists students and faculty members find expertise among the
librarians for reference questions, purchase recommendations, and any other communication
necessary to enhance the library's effectiveness to serve this diverse interest.
The initial funding for the development of this site was received from the Environmental
Council for FY99.
