• The Cinderella Bibliography

  A comprehensive annotated bibliography of Cinderella stories and variants in all media and formats dating back to ancient times. Though the website doesn't seem to be updated since 2002, it is still a high-quality scholarly resource.

• Cinderella Stories

  This site lists internet resources on Cinderella, reference books, articles, picture books and other versions of the fairy tale.

• Encyclopedia Mythica

  Part of the Children's Literature Web Guide, this site links to projects on children's literature, has stories online and links to reference sources on the web.

• Folklore, Myth and Legend

  This award-winning web site is dedicated to mythology, folklore and magic with thousands of definitions with links to other articles, images and web sites. It is searchable by keyword, indexed by mythologies and other areas.

• Folktexts: A Library of Folktales, Folklore, Fairy Tales, and Mythology

  A rich electronic resource of folklore texts created in 1996. The texts are edited, translated, and annotated by Prof. D. L. Ashliman, a folklore researcher who retired from the University of Pittsburgh. Students studying folklore and folktales may find especially useful the Grimm Brothers' Home Page and Charles Perrault's Mother Goose Tales.

• The Mother Goose Pages

  This well organized page contains the text to many nursery rhymes and children's songs. The author has included tips for using Mother Goose with young children and recommended other good books and resources to use. The rhymes themselves are presented alphabetically and grouped by themes.

• The SurLaLune Fairy Tales Site

  Offers annotated full-text of fairy tales and titles of their variants. Also lists titles of modern adaptations.

This alphabetically arranged title index and its supplements provide access to fairy tales, myths, and legends. A source for each story is listed after its title. Mary Huse Eastman, Norma Olin Ireland, and Joseph W. Sprug have authored supplements to the index.
S.398 OP3o 1952	Opie, Iona and Peter Opie. eds. The Oxford Dictionary of Nursery Rhymes. Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1952. The nursery rhymes in this collection are arranged alphabetically by the most prominent word. The Opies have included commentary with each rhyme and indexed the book by first line and by notable figures.
S.016.7846 P442i	Peterson, Carolyn Sue and Ann D. Fenton. Index to Children's Songs: A Title, First Line, and Subject Index. New York: H. W. Wilson Company, 1979. This book indexes more than 5,000 songs from 298 children's books that were published between 1909 and 1979.
