Youth Literature Festival October 4

The UIUC College of Education is hosting its first Youth Literature Festival to bring together the community and campus in celebration of the value of literature in the lives of youth. Many nationally known authors (as well as emerging young authors), illustrators, poets, and storytellers will participate in the various Festival events. All events are free and open to the public and will be held at various locations across the Champaign-Urbana community. More information may be found at the Festival Web site. An exhibit of the work of some of the participating authors and illustrators will be on display during September 2008 in the Marshall Gallery of the Main Library.
