Requesting book delivery to an I-Share library near you
If you live in or near Illinois, you may have access to an I-Share member library. If so, you can order books, have them sent to an I-Share library, and use you i-card to pick them up. You may also return books to I-Share libraries free of charge. To request book delivery to an I-Share Library, follow these steps:
Step 1
Visit the Online Library Catalog and select I-Share.
Step 2
In the I-Share Catalog, search for the book you would like to request.
Step 3
When you have located the book, click REQUEST THIS TITLE at the right of the screen.
Step 4
Enter your library ID number, library, and select your "home library," which is the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Step 4
Select "First Available Copy."
Step 5
On the final screen, use the drop-down menu next to "Pick Up Library" to select the library where you would like to pick up this book.
