Database Linking

If you would like to link to an article found in a library database follow the steps on the Database Linking page to make sure your link has the correct information.

Incorporating Resources

There are a number of ways to incorporate library resources into your web page or course management system (e.g. WebCT/Compass, Moodle, Angel, or Desire2Learn).
Click here for a general overview of database linking.

Contact Lori Mestre, the Digital Learning Librarian, at lmestre@illinois.edu or call 305-919-5604 for more information on incorporating the ideas below or to suggest alternatives.

Some of the library links need a proxy prefix in order for you to create a permanent (persistent) url. See the pages linked below for examples of how to create these persistent urls. Click here to learn more about proxy servers.

General Resources

The Sources Below do not Require any Special Prefixes.  Simply add the url to your page.
