Reserving Rooms in the ACES Library, Information, and Alumni Center (LIAC)

The ACES LIAC building contains 6 floor levels, the basement through level 5. Space is available for computing, instruction, events, and study/group projects. Please refer to this page for specific reservation details.

ACES Computer Lab Reservations (Basement)

Faculty Instruction: ACES instructors may reserve an instructional lab by using the ACF Scheduler located at http://acf.aces.uiuc.edu/reservations/, or by email at aces-acf@uiuc.edu or phone at: 244-3303.

 

ACES Information and Alumni Center Room Reservations (Basement - Level 1)

Events: For reservations or for more information on those facilities, please use the online reservation system located at https://www-s.aces.uiuc.edu/liacreservations/ or contact Student Development and Career Services. They are located at a walkup window on the east side of the LIAC lobby.

Alternatively, they may also be contacted by phone at: 333-1999 or 333-7744, or by email at slconrad@uiuc.edu.

 

Library Room Reservations (Levels 2 - 4)

Study Rooms/Group Projects: The Funk Library has six study rooms available for patron use. These rooms contain a table, whiteboard, and several chairs. Dry erase markers for the whiteboards are available at the Circulation Desk.

Non-Reservable Rooms: Rooms 301, 305, 401 and 405 may not be reserved and are available solely on a first come, first served basis.

Reservable Rooms: Rooms 309 and 409 may be reserved by any library patron for two hour time blocks. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance, and a patron is only allowed one outstanding reservation at a time.

To reserve room 309 or 409, stop in or call the Library Circulation Desk at 333-2416.

 

Library Instruction Lab Reservations (Level 5)

Librarian-led instruction: The library has one instruction lab, room 509. Reservations are restricted to U of I librarians. To request librarian-led instruction for a class, please contact us through our online form or by phone at: 333-2416.
