We can provide 1:1 consultations and office calls for faculty, and class sessions as well as 1:1 consultations for students.
Here are just some of the Instructional services the CPLA Center at the Funk ACES Library can do for you:
Conduct tours of the Funk ACES Library including CPLA Reference & Resource Center and CPLA New Books Area
Provide sessions on library use and services (Online Library Catalog, how to locate library materials, borrowing, interlibrary loan, etc.)
Present workshops on how to use particular databases, how to set up current awareness services to keep up-to-date on the literature, etc.
Provide sessions on the use of library resources for reading research papers
Formulate course, project, or research related library instruction sessions
Assist with research assignment development
Create handouts, guides, Web pages, Web tutorials, and other library research or subject related information tools
Compile source selections for class assignments and curriculum
Provide sessions on information sources that are useful to laboratory classes
Design customized print and Web resources for a specific class, project, or subject area
Present new faculty workshops

The University Library Central Reference Library has many online tutorials, streaming videos, and other instructional assistance at their LEARN Web site. See their FAQs. They also schedule many workshops throughout the semester, with the special needs of undergraduate and graduate students in mind. This is a must stop for any student, and useful for faculty members, too!
