Publisher's dinner at the Hotel Commodore on 9 January 1959 in honor of Wendell Goodparture. Carl Sandburg is seated along the banquet table on the far left. He is the seventh person from the right end of his table. The woman to his right is Gypsy Rose Lee. Hilda Terry D'Alessio is in the crowd, near the table, in the lower left corner of the photograph. Immediately to the left of her is Joe Wershba. Kitty McCarthy is four faces to the right of Hilda Terry. Ethel Smith is also in the crowd.
