| Interpretation | By 1895, agriculture had been added to the courses of reading, writing, and arithmetic in schools. The earliest efforts in convincing farmers to adopt 'scientific methods' were centered in the one-room school. Take-home demonstration projects were designed to out-produce dad's field. The projects included seed testing projects and other scientifc tests which eroded traditional farming methods. |
