DescriptionA rectangular glass slide depicting four boys riding a variety of things: a goat, a bicycle; a pig and a donkey. The boys are wearing the attire of well dressed men.
InterpretationMagic Lanterns were projectors which made a small, handpainted image project on a large screen. Shows were held in theatres; children had toy magic lanterns as well. Absurd pictures of animals were meant to be amusing.
