Description	This is a paper boy doll dressed in gray knee pants and a white blouse with a wide, frilly collar and a big red bow. He is carrying a toy whip behind him.
Interpretation	Although it was popular starting with the 1890's to use paper dolls as advertisements for women's magazines and underwear, these paper dolls advertised McLaughlin's Coffee and one doll with dress came with every bag. Like the cloth advertising doll, these paper dolls represent the continuing growth of a mass consumer U.S. market.
