Interpretation	After their day's work was done, the enrollees had many opportunities for further education. The CCC educational program had nine specific objectives: the elimination of illiteracy; the removal of deficiencies in common school subjects; training on the job; general vocational training; avocational training; cultural and general education; health and safety education; character and citizenship training; and, assisting enrollees to find employment.
