enrollee
worked
successively
on
each
of the
various
work
projects
in his
camp.
This
period
of
rotation
covered
the
first
two
months
of his
residence
in the
camp.
Each
foreman
provided
his
crew
with the
following:
instruction
in the
use
of
tools
on a
particular
job;
instruction
in
safety
regulations
as they
applied
to a
job;
an
understanding
of the
opportunities
for
advancement;
the
qualities
he
considered
when
giving
a
worker
a
good
rating;
the
reason
why
a
project
was
being
done
and its
relationship
to the
camp
and the
national
program
of
conservation;
and
, the
relationship
of his
work
to
employment
in
private
life.
