in.

the
base

Raised

on
both
sides
of the
body.
Flask
has a
wire
loop
on the
bottom
for a
strap.
Interpretation
This
is
a
hunting
flask.
It
has
no
marks
to
indicate
who
made
it
or
where
, but
many
flasks
of this
type
were
made
in
Germany.
Although
this
is
not a
military
item
,
many
hunting
weapons
and
accessories
were
used
in the
Revolutionary
War
by
American
colonists.
This
flask
is
from that
period.
