cut
athletic
tops
and
shorts

knitted

woven
fabrics.
These
Jantzen
swimsuit
ads
from
1935
depict
that
trend.
In the
suit
on the
left
the
shirt
and
trunks
are
joined
by a
zipper
so
that the
shirt
may
be
easily
removed.
