| Description | Sepia-toned stereograph of two nearly-identical photos, mounted side-by-side on tan cardboard. Shows washstand, towel rack, and kettles near a window. A large print hangs from rope and a small print is sitting on a sconce over the washstand. Washstand is stained dark, has turned corner posts, double doors, and a marble top. Two large white bowls sit on top with glass bottle in between and small bowl to side. Towel rack has three towels on it. Strap-handled kettle sits in larger metal bucket. Another metal bucket sits under the towel rack. At window is lightweight curtain, on walls is heavily patterned wallpaper. L 6 3/4" x W 3 1/16". |
| Interpretation | One of few period photographs thought to show the 2nd floor interior of the Lincoln Home. Unfortunately, the exact identity of the room is unknown. |
