Description	Partial glass plate negative. Picture of Zay Wright in the yard standing under a tree. She is dressed in a white ruffled mid-length dress. She's wearing white sandals with heels, stockings, and has a large white bow in her hair. She is holding a book and is wearing a bracelet and a necklace.
Interpretation	This is a glass plate negative. You can see where the glass has been broken. At the end of the 19th century, photography became a hobby for many Americans. This is a photograph of Zay Wright who lived in Champaign County. Like most Illinois residents, Zay's father was a farmer. This picture may have been taken when Zay graduated from 8th grade.
