| Interpretation | Harness-racing events were the most popular entertainment at the Fair and large crowds were sure to attend. The fair was discontinued in 1918 and the grounds were leased. The grandstand was leveled by fire in 1928. A used grandstand was acquired from Kankakee when the Champaign County Fair Association revived the Fair in 1939.
