| Description | Four escutcheons, supported by double-headed eagle displayed (1) Central escutcheon parted per chief, azure (blue) and or (gold); upper field charged with three fleurs de lis in chief; lower field charged with lion rampant azure; (2) Lower escutcheon parted quarterly, quarters 1 and 4 or, charged with double-headed eagle displayed sable (black); quarters 2 and 3 gules (red) charged with a lion rampant crowned argent (silver); over all, a shield argent and gules charged with a crown or; (3) Dexter, gules, charged with three shields; (4) Sinister, azure charged with an owl and scroll. In the eagles claws, dexter, a stick with scroll, dated 1893; sinister, a printer's ink ball. |
