| Description | Chippendale coat of arms. Eschutcheon: Quarterly, 1st and 4th, parted per chief engrailed, upper part sable charged with a crescent; lower part or, a sinister hand couped holding three arrows point down; 2nd and 3rd, quarterly, parted per cross, a scallop shell in each quarter. Frame is topped by a monumental urn with banner bearing motto, 'Deo dirigente crescendum est'. Beneath the frame a larger banner with motto: Occasionem cognosce. |
