Strategic Planning Task Force Meeting Minutes 22 August 2011

1. Plan open meetings for draft strategic plan discussion
- 3 open meetings will be held in October
- All library
- All campus faculty
- All campus student
- The task force discussed ways to advertise the meetings, including contacting the Senate Library Committee and departmental librarian committees (through subject specialists) for campus faculty; and contacting the Illinois Student Senate and various student library advisory groups
- In November the task force will write a second draft
- The second draft will go out by Fall Break for comment and EC review
- Over December/winter break the task force will look to incorporate feedback into a final draft
- A introductory document will be written for these meetings that outlines the strategic planning process to date, and criteria for strategic initatives
2. Review draft strategic plan components
- The next draft will be reviewed by email
