1. Support for APs
The group discussed working with the Executive Committee to investigate potential research funding for APs.
2. Application and budget
The group discussed the 2013 budget and surplus from the previous year’s unused grants.
The majority of last year’s award recipients have completed the Project Outcomes form and responded to the email about RPC brown bags. Carissa will send a follow up email to those who have not completed the form. The group discussed meeting with new Library faculty. The group discussed updates to the RPC website.
4. Programming for Spring/Summer
The group discussed presentations to be scheduled. The qualitative and quantitative research methods presentation will tentatively be scheduled for late March. The group also continued the conversation about reinstating RPC brown bags. A joint presentation with the Historical Cultural Research group is scheduled for March 11; RPC is the official co-sponsor. Other brown bags will be scheduled. Dan will look into the possibility of a session on IRB for librarians. The group discussed possibly working with the LIS research methods series.
