1. Dennis Sears joins the Committee
Lonnie and I welcomed Dennis to the committee. Dennis has a great deal of experience with exhibits and web page management. We are looking forward to working with him.
2. Review of Exhibit Cases and Supplies
Since this was Dennis' first meeting with us, we used our meeting to orient him to the exhibit cases and the exhibit supplies in the cabinet. We did not discard any materials or transfer any to the exhibit case drawers.
3. Update on bulletin board in 1st floor Main Library Hall
As of Fri. Aug. 7, Jeff Schraeder, reported that no decisions have been made on the bulletin board. He was asked by the Advancement Office to investigate the options and pricing of putting up an electronic bulletin board. The type was not specified, e.g. computer monitor, electronic sign, etc. He was concerned about the size of the display unit and the need to have enough distance to view the display properly since the hall is relatively narrow.
