Library Diversity Committee Meeting Minutes

March 14, 2006

The committee discussed the upcoming program where the video, "People First" will be shown. Mary Beth Allen reported that Brian McMurray from DRES has agreed to be the facilitator. Lisa Romero will have a draft of the Program Evaluation completed by April 11, 2006.

Cindy Ingold gave an update on the search for the diversity position. The committee has identified 6 candidates to conduct phone conversations (pre-screening) with.

Cindy Kelly has agreed to meet with the committee on April 11. The group will be discussing the following topics with her: What are the staff concerns with regards to training and diversity awareness (in general)?
