Advisory Committee to the Associate University Librarian For Services
Charge
The Advisory Committee to the Associate University Librarian for Services will provide guidance
and advice to the Associate University Librarian for Services on such issues as:
- How best to preserve our core service values while also stimulating progress
- How to identify with precision what expectations our users have for our services
- How best to meet these expectations through reallocation of resources and energies or other
appropriate strategies
- How to improve our support services (e.g., cataloging, acquisitions) in order to make us more
effective in delivering services to all our users
- Setting priorities for the AUL for Services
The Committee should be able to provide broad, diverse, and innovative viewpoints on services
today as well as on their future directions.
