Policy on Use of Library Conference/Meeting Rooms for Instructional Purposes
- No regularly scheduled classes in conference/meeting rooms (rooms 413, 428, 225, 230B, 346)
with exceptions noted below:
- One time instructional sessions by Library faculty are permitted if usual instruction rooms not
available (i.e. these meeting rooms should be used as a last resort and early and late in the day
is preferable)
- Bibliography classes normally taught in such rooms (e.g. Slavic bibliography, Africana
bibliography, book arts are exempt.
- No classes or instruction sessions scheduled in these rooms until the University Librarian's
office has put out a call for regularly scheduled meetings (e.g. AC, EC, Divisional meetings, User
Ed, Services Advisory Committee, ISCC, Women’s Studies Faculty) to be registered in these
rooms.
