University High School Procedures

University High School nonfiction is cataloged in the same manner as nonfiction for other libraries.  The only exception is that they are given the item status of  "Book 2".

Fiction is cataloged with Fiction as the class and then a cutter line with an item status of "Book 3". 

Example: 852  8  ≠b uhf ≠h Fiction  ≠i  H345k ≠t 1
 
Graphic novels are cataloged with a prefix of GN. and then a cutter line.  Also with an item status of "Book 3".

Example :  852  8  ≠b uhgn  ≠h GN.  ≠i  H345k  ≠t 1
