Installing the Cutter Table onto Your Desktop

Note: No special permissions are needed in order to install this shortcut onto your desktop.

Install the Cutter table onto your desktop:

1. Log in to your workstation

   --- if you're installing it for someone else, ask he/she to log in.

2. Open " My Computer" and in the Address bar type \\libsys5\software\Dewey.

3. Right click and copy the Cutter shortcut (the one with the little arrow on the icon).

   

4. Return to the desktop.

5. Right click and paste the shortcut onto the desktop. The icon looks like this:

   

Choose the correct Cutter table

• When the Cutter table was first set up, the default selection is to view "Cutter-Sanborn Four-Figure Table". Click "View" from the menu and select "Cutter Four-Figure Table" from the drop-down list.

  

Now you're ready to use the Cutter table.
