Academic "Walk-Up" Advising @ UGL...
The General Curriculum Center is hosting drop-in advising hours at the
Undergraduate Library Information Services Desk (on the upper level)
during the Spring 2007 semester. Chris Armstrong will be available to
answer your questions relating to:
* Major, career, or academic issues
* Available resources and services on campus
* University policies and procedures
* Contact information for people and departments across campus
Note that Chris CANNOT help you plan your class schedule during drop-in
advising. You need to set up an appointment with your academic advisor
to do this.
Hours for Spring 2007 Semester:
Wednesdays at 3:00-5:00 p.m.
February 7 through April 25
(no advising on March 21 and April 11, 18)

2. Librarians' Office Hours
February 26th-April 18th: Get one-on-one help. Monday 3-5pm and Wednesday 6-8pm. Room 291 of the Undergraduate Library
3. Multimedia Software
Use iTunes and the rest of the iLife software package along with Adobe PhotoShop and other Adobe software on our 10 new iMacs.
4. Technology Checkout
Checkout a Laptop for 2 hours of use in the library
Take home an MP3 Player, a DVD Player or a Hard Drive for 1 Week
5. Career Cluster
Get resume and cover letter writing help and checkout our great selection of job, interview and grad school materials in the Career Cluster.
6. Writers Workshop
Sign up for an individual appointment to have a consultant review writing assignments.

Movies and Games: Now Keep them Longer...
Starting January 2nd we extended the circulation time for all VHS, DVD and Video Games to 1 Week!
Remember...Late fees are $1/day per item.
