Gaming Night

Video Games at Undergrad!!!
Game On! @ the Undergraduate Library
Come play video games at your favorite place to study!
When: Saturday, April 29th between 7-10pm
Where: Undergraduate Library, 1st floor

- Play games from the Undergrad's brand new video game collection

- Refreshments provided
The Undergrad Library has started a new video game collection! We also have consoles (Xbox 360, Xbox, Playstation 2, GameCube) so you will be able come and play the games here. This is perhaps the best combination ever- video games and an academic library!
To inaugaurate our collection we invite the UIUC community (students, staff and faculty) to please come to the first of many Game Nights on Saturday, April 29th, from 7-10pm. We're keeping the library open for three extra hours, just for the gaming fun. Play games from the new collection; try out our consoles. Please bring your own games and consoles too; we will have televisions available to hook them up! There will be a DDR Contest, complete with prizes and announced winners.

Summary: The Birmingham Campaign was launched in 1963. Martin Luther King Jr. and other activists were soon jailed, but it was the participation of the children that advanced the momentum of the Birmingham movement. They marched alongside the adults and were taken to jail with them as well. On Sunday morning, Sept. 15, 1963, dynamite planted by the Ku Klux Klan, exploded in the 16th St. Baptist Church. The bodies of four girls were found under the debris. Denise McNair, Addie Mae Collins, Carole Robertson and Cynthia Wesley died because of the color of their skin.
