Bibliographies?? RefWorks Works For You!!
RefWorks Service Imports and Customizes Online References, automatically formats papers AND assists you in writing your bibliography.
What is RefWorks?
RefWorks is a web-based service that allows faculty and students to create their own working databases by importing references from online database resources. Once imported, you can then use these references in writing papers, preparing other documents, and formatting the content and bibliography in the preferred citation style in mere seconds (that's no exaggeration). It's the bibliographic tool!
Get Organized!
RefWorks organizes reference material as you import it, eliminating the need for numerous note cards and paper files. It creates author, descriptor, and periodical name indexes for quick and easy information retrieval. It also provides both Quick Search and Advanced Search functions.
It's EASY!
RefWorks provides user-friendly and easy-to-learn interface. Since it is a Web-based product, RefWorks requires no lengthy download or installation procedures. It is available from any campus location and it works in numerous Web browsers and computer systems.
For more information about using RefWorks and to quickly sign up for your free RefWorks account, visit http://www.library.uiuc.edu/refworks.
You'll regret not doing it, so if you need further help in understanding how it works, ask your friendly reference librarians to help get you started.
