Library Learning Relaunch

If you’ve missed getting updates on information literacy, teaching, workshops, and conferences in one spot, worry no longer! The Library Learning weblog is relaunching this summer under the direction of Lisa Hinchliffe, Coordinator of Information Literacy Services and Instruction.

Just as before, this blog will connect you to workshops on campus, conferences across the nation and around the world, and local information literacy news. We’re also expanding to include interviews with some campus librarians, to talk with them about how they see information literacy. We’ll also take note of any interesting articles being published, and will try and make note of anything within the fields of librarianship and education that could be useful to librarians here at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Writing the articles this summer is Sarah Schmidt, a student about to graduate from GSLIS. If you have any ideas or events and news that you think needs to be highlighted, send Sarah an e-mail at saschmd2@illinois.edu.

Happy reading!
