InfoHacks #1: RefWorks

How do you organize your citations? Do you pay money for your software? (End Note) Are you using space on your hard drive? (Zotero) The University Library presents RefWorks, your own web driven personal database. Upload citations directly from the online catalog, subject databases and the Internet.

QUICK TIP: Good news! RefWorks now offers server space to upload pdf files, images, whatever, directly to your citation records. This is so convenient when you want to have a file close at hand. You can upload files up to 20 MB each. For even more server space, upload your files to your NetFiles account and put the URL into the individual record.

Haven't worked with RefWorks yet? Join us for a training workshop at the Library and we'll get you started. RefWorks can save you loads of time when you're ready to publish your bibliography, organize for your literature review or share citations with a colleague across the country. Spend less time organizing and more time researching.

PSST! What's an "InfoHack"? A time-saving, information organizing, life altering solution to improve the quality of your academic career. Join us every Wednesday.
