September 22, 2005 1:00 - 2:30 pm (tomorrow)
428 Library
There are going to be a lot of people with both proposal writing and proposal review experience at the workshop tomorrow:
*Sarah Shreeves has had the experience of examining 100+ IMLS grantees under the IMLS Digital Collections and Content grant and has a good sense of what makes a successful grant
*Tim Cole will also be there to share his observations from grant review panels he's served on
*Tom Teper will be there to talk about Library resources relating to proposals with preservation issues.
*Beth Sandore will answer any questions about cost sharing
*Bev Curtis will be there to answer any questions regarding how to put together a budget
We'll talk about upcoming grant deadlines and timelines, collaborative strategies, and how the grant process works in the Library. We'll briefly look at the new Library blog and website for grant information: http://www.library.uiuc.edu/blog/grantinfo/.
All Library faculty and staff are welcome. Registration is not required.
