Virtual Reality for Virtual Eternity

UIC and the University of Central Florida are combining on an interesting new project to use computer simulation and video game technology to create 3D simulations and "historical archives of people" that can be interacted with in real time. Investigators are looking at videotaping and recording contemporary campus folks initially, to see how this environment works for capturing institutional knowledge.
