Got Summer plans?

Well, technically Fall classes start August 22nd, but if you're looking for something interesting to do that first weekend (August 26th-29th), AdventureCon may just be your thing. Billed as "the biggest nostalgic computer-game event in North America," the convention will feature creators and enthusiasts of all things vintage gaming. The focus is on adventure games (the event takes place on the 30th anniversary of Zork), and speakers include "Scott Adams, designer of the groundbreaking text adventure Adventureland and Al Lowe, creator of Leisure Suit Larry."

And, it's in Las Vegas, so you know it will be fun.
