Open Access Works: Econpapers

Econpapers is an updated and renamed version of IDEAS and REpec, which have been repositories of abstracted working papers. However, Econpapers contain more than just abstracts; many of full-text and are up to date. There are book chapters from Elsevier's handbooks, but be forewarned, they are older editions from the 1980's, although some students might find them useful.

The idea is to get more scholarly works into an Open Access format and made free to the public.

Professor Peter Jasco has written an excellent comparison of EconLit, a for fee resource and Econpapers. Bellog highly recommends reading his review.
