Carissa's Column: Mendelsohn Affluent Survey

Mendelsohn Media Research has produced the Mendelsohn Affluent Survey (http://www.mmrsurveys.com/mhomefrm.htm) every year since 1977. "Because of its accumulated expertise in this area, Mendelsohn is now recognized internationally as the definitive research source of the media habits and lifestyles of the affluent population in the United States." Business Week, the Economist, the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Bloomberg Television all cite the results of Mendelsohn Affluent Surveys in their promotional materials.

Selected findings from the 2004 survey are available for free (http://www.mmrsurveys.com/a04bro.pdf). A detailed table of magazine/newspaper readership statistics is available for 2005 (http://www.mmrsurveys.com/ppcmag05.pdf) and for each year back to 1998. Cable TV network viewership statistics are available for 2005 (http://www.mmrsurveys.com/ppccatv05.pdf) and for every year back to 2000.
