Journal Alerts

Email alerts are available for many of the electronic bibliographic databases.  Instructions are provided on the Auto-Alert Instructions Listed by Publishers, from the University Biotechnology Information Center. Please ask a librarian if you need assistance.

New Books

The New Books List for Biology books is created from the University Library's New Titles database to display new titles for a specific month.

New Biology Books (rolling):

You can use the University Library's New Titles database to search for recently cataloged titles by library, call number ranges, or combinations of both for a variety of time periods.  There are also a number of sorting options for the results list.  Due to the way books are entered in the database, new biology books can no longer be found by selecting "Biology Library" under the "Select Libraries" search option (from now on they will appear under the "Agriculture (Funk ACES)" library). To find biology books, try searching by call number range or by selecting "Biology" as the fund subject. For more information, see the FAQ, Descriptions and Examples.
