Note:  The online version does not contain abbreviations.  The print BIOSIS Serials List contains  abbreviations (ISO/ISSN abbreviations standard)  but was discontinued in 2006.  The print BIOSIS Serials List is available at the Biology Library Reference Desk for consultation.

  • NLM Journals Indexed for MEDLINE    Ceased with the 2008 edition.  Can now create this listing using PubMed's Journal Database. Click the Limits tab and select "Currently indexed in MEDLINE" under the Current Subsets section. Then click Go.

  • List of all journals included in PubMed, Molecular Biology, and Entrez databases

  • NLM List of Serials Indexed for Online Users   provides bibliographic information for all journals ever indexed over time with the MeSH ^® vocabulary and cited in MEDLINE ^®, the backbone of the NLM PubMed ^® database. It includes titles that ceased publication, changed titles, or are no longer indexed.
